Last updated: 16 June 2026 · Version 0.1 (draft)
This Privacy Policy explains how Almabit AG ("Almabit", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website or join our waitlist. We are committed to handling your data in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The controller responsible for your personal data is:
Almabit AGChamerstrasse 176
6300 Zug, Switzerland
privacy@almabit.ch
2. What data we collect
We collect only the data needed to respond to your enquiry and prepare for our future service launch:
- Contact details you submit through the waitlist form — name, email address, phone number.
- Enquiry details — indicated investment size, strategy of interest and any comment you provide.
- Technical data — limited information your browser sends automatically (e.g. IP address, device and browser type). We do not currently run website analytics or advertising trackers.
3. How we use your data
- To contact you about your enquiry and our upcoming launch.
- To assess which strategy may suit your stated goals.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including future anti-money-laundering requirements once our membership is in place.
We process this data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your request. You may withdraw consent at any time (see section 7).
4. Where your data is stored
Waitlist enquiries are recorded in our customer-relationship tooling (currently Notion). Data may be processed on servers located outside Switzerland or the EU; where that occurs we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
5. How long we keep it
We retain waitlist data until our service launches and you either become a client or ask us to delete it, and in any case no longer than required by applicable law. Where retention is mandated by financial regulation, the statutory period applies.
6. Sharing with third parties
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate (e.g. our CRM and email providers), each bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and with authorities where legally required.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@almabit.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local supervisory authority.
8. Cookies
Our website currently uses only the strictly necessary storage required for it to function (for example, remembering your language preference). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes we will update this policy and request consent where required.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our service develops and as our regulatory status changes. The current version and its date are shown at the top of this page.
